In this workshop she will take you back to the masters, and teach you how to create your very own cross-hatched artwork.
Cross hatching is a method of drawing in which you overlay two perpendicular sets of parallel lines to form a textural, dimensional crisscross pattern. This technique can help create intricate, interesting, and textural forms in your finished piece.

Joella Wheatley studied her BA Fine Art degree at the Arts University Bournemouth. Winning the Platform Graduate Award and working with four prestigious galleries (Turner Contemporary, Modern Art Oxford, Aspex Gallery and MK Gallery) Joella continued onto her solo show at Aspex gallery and exhibited nationally since then. This gives you the opportunity to revisit any of the techniques or artists mentioned. A zoom link will be sent a day before the class, and recorded video link will be sent the next day. The link expires within 1 month. Please note, faces and voices will be visible but you can turn your camera off and mute if you wish.

Materials you will need:
Drawing pen around 0.1 nib. (Joella will be using a Uni Pin 0.1, a biro can be used as well)
Drawing or sketchbook paper
Ruler
Pencil
Rubber
